The Union has been publishing and disseminating the latest research, policy and practice regarding tuberculosis and lung health since its founding in 1920. The Union has more than a hundred publications, including books, technical guides, training packages, case studies, reports, and general information.
The International Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (IJTLD) and Public Health Action (PHA) are the official journals of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union).
The Union developed its first technical guide in the late 1970s to facilitate the knowledge and technology transfer between consultants with extensive field experience and low-income countries in the throes of establishing national tuberculosis control programmes and policies.
Most of the publications may be downloaded at no charge.
