Dr Alberto Roggi

Dr Alberto Roggi - Tuberculosis and Lung Health

Dr Alberto Roggi has worked in clinical tuberculosis (TB) in Italy and in programmatic TB as technical assistant of National Tuberculosis Programme (NTP) of Burkina Faso for 5 years. He has deepened issues linked to HIV/TB co-infection and multi-drug resistance TB (MDR-TB). He is passionate about operational research to expand evidence base for health approaches in health facilities and about items related to pediatric TB. He has been involved to several Union courses including the International Course on MDR-TB for francophone Africa was held in Douala. He has published in HIV/TB and MDR-TB. Since 2015, Alberto work as consultant for The Union to provide technical assistance to the NTP of Niger and Madagascar.
